02/20/2013 - 2:30PM: The zcluster is currently experiencing problems with the storage system and we are working with the vendor.
02/20/2013 - 4:43PM: The storage volumes /home /escratch and /escratch1 are undergoing reconstruction on the two director blades that are still in the cluster. Users of these volumes will notice slower-than-usual performance. Reconstruction will continue overnight.
02/20/2013 - 10:28PM: /home is still reconstructing, currently at 5%.
02/21/2013 - 9:30AM: /home still reconstructing, currently at 46.79%. System claims that reconstruction time is 13 hours.
02/21/2013 - 3:21PM: /home at 66.15%. Reconstruction time now claims 8 hours.
02/22/2013 - 10:43AM: /home is finished reconstruction. I've responded to the vendor ticket response and we are working together to diagnose the issue and determine if an RMA replacement is required.
02/22/2013 - 12:48AM: Manual troubleshooting is required to diagnose the issue. Will be uploading results to their site by this afternoon and, if necessary, requesting an RMA.
02/22/2013 - 3:06PM: Manual troubleshooting is continuing with our vendor. Unavailable blade is now responsive, but cannot submit logs.
02/23/2013 - 6:41AM: Vendor has provided guidance and procedure to help re-initialize the blade and have it rejoin the realm. They will continue to analyze the problem but have assured us that the problem is not hardware-related.
