The OpenNMS Server

Functional Description

OpenNMS is an open-source network monitoring solution utilizing RRDTool, postgresql, nmap, SNMP, Tomcat web interface, and a host other network and querying utilities.

Usage Description

The RCC uses the OpenNMS server for SNMP trap sinks to notify us of network or host issues and to actively monitor the state of hardware in Boyd 191.
